Great spot to knit

I mowed the lawn on Saturday. It was hot so I decided to sit on the patio to cool off a bit. It was so pretty out I went inside to grab my knitting.

Best spot to knit in Southern Colorado!

Happy knitting!

Top-Down Magic Loop Socks Revisited

I am giving this technique a second try.

I am convinced my mind wanders too much when I knit socks. This yarn is a Wisdom Yarns Marathon Sock yarn and the color way is "Seattle." They have lots of color ways named after big cities.  I know I have more of this yarn; I think the other one I have is "Boston."

Want to see what I see in this yarn as my mind wanders?

Do you see it too!?

I am calling these my "Ben and Jerry's" socks. Fun!

Knubbelchen

Hmmmm. What is that!?!
Looks like I am prepping for surgery, doesn't it?

It's a Knubbelchen!

I found this cute pattern on Ravelry. The link is HERE.

I went to the knit shop to knit with a friend this past Thursday.  Out on the street, I admired the flower pots on the sidewalk. This one had spectacular cabbage-looking plants with big rain drops nestled in the frilly leaves.

So pretty!

Socks again

More socks!

I am using Plymouth "Diversity" yarn again. I love this yarn and have mentioned it in a number of posts.

I love how this color way coordinates with my big red coffee mug!

I the yarn is pooling in interesting ways.

This pair of socks is knitting up in a jiffy.

Sock Blank Socks

I am still plugging along on my sock blank socks. I am working on the socks two at a time on two sets of dpns. The heels are done and I am racing toward the toes.  I am officially tired of these socks and ready to cast on a new project but it will be great to finish both socks at the same time.

No "second sock syndrome" for me!

Here's a photo of the sock blank if you missed that prior post.
