Mini Mochi Fair Isle Hat
I was so happy with my Semi-Swedish Hat using the fair isle technique, that I quickly cast on another fair isle project. I had a false start with other yarn, but I am very happy with the combination of yarn I am currently using. Fingering weight yarn, 144 stitches per round, size 3 needles... tiny stitches. Despite the small scale and number of stitches, this is knitting up pretty quickly... partly because it's so fun to knit that it is difficult to set down. I just started this three days ago. I love Crystal Palace's Mini Mochi yarn... the colors are so pretty. The colorway I am using is called "Crayon Box".

Hey Kim your knitting is amazing and I just came across your blog a few days ago but looks fantastic. I have been looking for a chemo hat for my dad as he is set to start soon. Do you know of any sort of male style
Hi. I hope you find my reply here. I do have some great sources for knitting patterns. Are you on Ravelry? If you are NOT a Ravelry member, join!!!!! You just need to create a user name and a password. It's like Facebook for knitters and crocheters only WAY better.
On Ravelry, there is a group where a lady named Sandyham has compiled the most amazing list of chemo cap patterns. Here is the link: http://www.ravelry.com/groups/chemo-cap-pattern-library
Halos of Hope is another group on Ravelry. They have a few patterns on their website which can be found a www.halosofhope.org
Their Ravelry link is here: http://www.ravelry.com/groups/halos-of-hope
Another good source for chemo cap patterns is www.knitmichigan.org
Another great source for patterns is www.knittingpatterncentral.com
I hope these links are helpful. There are definitely more patterns for ladies but many patterns could easily be made a tad larger for a man... but remember a person going thru chemo might want a snugger or smaller hat when their hair is lost.
If you join Ravelry, be sure to friend me where my user name is "kimfluck" on Ravelry. Best wishes. Best wishes to you and your Dad!
